You cannot get a legal set of contact lenses without a prescription. The doctor is there for a reason, and while you may not want to waste your time, it's there for your safety. They get the measurements for your eyes, the necessary base curve and diameter to get a correct fit. You can do some serious damage to your eyes if you get the wrong fit, or don't care for them the way you are supposed to. So please, if you really want to get some colored contacts, see your eye doctor and get the exam done first. Often they have trials that you can try out afterwards to see if you like the color.
The only way you could get them from a store is if you get ones with no prescription. If you need a prescription, you'll HAVE to go to the doctor or have had an eye exam in the past year. You can order them online but for prescription cosmetic lenses, they will need to verify your prescription.





Just pay for an eye exam and get it out of the way; it will save you SO much headaches and it will be easy to get your lenses!
